This imagery was purchased by the City of San José Environmental Services Department Marsh Conversion Study. Color-Infrared and True-Color Satellite Images were obtained from the IKONOS satellite, operated by GeoEye, Inc. This imagery was purchased by the City of San José Environmental Services Department Marsh Conversion Study. These studies can be viewed at www.sanjoseca.gov/esd under Research and Publications section.
Content Purpose:
This imagery was used for mapping of vegetation and wetland types as part of the annual Marsh Conversion Study. This study is done either annually or semi-annually by the City of San José Environmental Services Department. This study is a requirement for to maintain the NPDES Permit for the San José-Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant.

The product purchased from GeoEye, Inc. (www.geoeye.com) is as follows: Pro - 1 Meter Pan Sharpened Multi-Spectral Imagery As viewed at www.geoeye.com under Products, this imagery is the IKONOS Pro product.
